Be Here Now

Be Here Now is an open, relaxed format meditation group based on the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the practices of mindfulness - we meet every Monday night starting promptly at 7:30pm and ending at 8:45pm. There is one session of sitting meditation for 20 minutes, followed by walking meditation, a reading, an open sharing circle and closing with a circle for gratitude and healing.

Be Here Now is open to everyone and is free to attend, donations are always appreciated. No experience necessary.  Feel free to simply come on by and sit with us!

Social time: Feel free to come a little early on Monday nights - anytime after 7:00pm - to chat and have some tea too!

I'll also be sharing about some tools and practices that we can utilize in order to create a better balance of positive bias, verse the high propensity for negative bias that clouds and distorts our views of the world.

Clark Fork River Cleanup!

For the past few years, BHN has led a team of volunteers wanting to help with the annual Clark Fork River Cleanup, sponsored by the Clark Fork Coalition  - and this year is no exception!

Join us as we team up with our friends at Back to the Mother to lead one of the many cleanup crews on Saturday April 21st.

To volunteer: Meet us at Caras Park around 9:30am on Saturday April 21st. Dress to be outside and getting dirty!

The cleanup runs from 10:00-12:00pm, followed by a free BBQ for volunteers at Caras from noon-1:00.

As usual, we'll be assigned the Jacob's Island dog park area - so feel free to bring your dog friend along, too!

Kids are super encouraged to join us! The more the merrier: bring your friends & family too!

Tangible Hope Concert with Josh Farmer, Storytelling with Marc Moss & More! In proud partnership with the Missoula Interfaith Collaborative (MIC), we're happy to spread the word about this upcoming event. From the MIC: Tangible Hope is a musical journey and celebration of the working towards creating a stronger community through programs like Family Promise and Missoula Works. Join the Pura Vida Community Chorus led by Josh Farmer, the Missoula Ringers, John Floridis and Lion's Den as we come together in solidarity to envision a better tomorrow.  Saturday May 5th, 6:00-7:30pm at the Wilma. Tickets are $15. If you plan on attending, please let me know, as it would be great to form a crew and sit together :) Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/345504242621311/
