Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

MBSR @ Open Way with Dr. Susan Curtis:


Mobilize your own inner resources for personal growth, healing and coping with stress.
Mindfulness of thoughts and emotions
Supported home practices
Self compassion and kindness practices
Cultivation of mindfulness in daily life
Gentle mindful movement practices (Qigong, yoga and walking meditation)
Time for questions, answers and discussion

The course curriculum includes:
Comprehensive instruction in mindfulness meditation techniques
Showing up in the present moment
Awareness of the body and its sensations
Awareness of the breath
Stress physiology and reactive patterns
Choosing a different path, applying what you are learning
Mindfulness in communications

Free Orientation: January 7th, 2018; 2:00-4:30pm

Where: Open Way Mindfulness Center  (702 Brooks street, Missoula, MT)

When: Sundays 2-4:30pm  January 14th, 21st, February 4th, 11th (alternate location NOT at Open Way), 18th, 25th, March 4th and 11th with a day long retreat on Saturday March 3rd from 9am-4pm

Cost: $300* includes 27 hours of guided mindfulness instruction, workbook, and guided recordings.
